Google?s Eric Schmidt dropped some facts prior to the big Motorola announcement today, sharing that Android now has over 1.3 million activations per day, including 70,000 tablets. With this incredible growth, Android has leapfrogged to 480 million devices on the market.
Schmidt also noted that Google was ?late to tablets,? speaking of Google?s Android entrance into the tablet market with Android 3.0 Honeycomb.
